NYC Events: Sommelier Smackdown at the Nios Restaurant - June 23, 2009

From Nios Restaurant and Wine Bar:

NIOS’ master sommelier Emily Wines will host a series of Sommelier Smackdowns, where she will go head-to-head with some of the world’s most renowned wine and spirits experts. At each event, Emily will challenge a new visiting personality to a battle of the pairings, and diners will sample the duel wine and cocktail matches side-by-side with a three-course dinner by chef Patricia Williams’. Winner is chosen by your votes, and may the best pairings win!  

The first Sommelier Smackdown will be on Tuesday, June 23rd, 2009

Emily will be going head-to-head with Laura Maniec, MS from B.R. Guest Restaurants.

Join us at NIOS for 3 courses with 2 drinks per course for $55 per person (exclusive of tax and gratuity)
