I enjoy going out to eat and drink. With over ten thousand places in NYC, it's easy to find new restaurants and variety of cuisines to experience.
Here you will find my notes, reviews, updates and opinions on restaurants, food, drinks, etc. When I travel you will also find updates on hotels, restaurants and bars from other cities and countries.
I am truly grateful and thankfull to have what I have and do what I am able to.

When visiting Shelter Island we decided to visit the Vine Street Cafe for dinner on a Saturday night. Even though it happens to be located in a hotel, Vincci Hotel Avalon to be exact, chef and management found a way to deliver an impressive menu to go with wonderful service (minus the ambiance which I think needs a bit of work).
It seems like they tried to cover any type of food that originated from the Mediterranean region. Of course this is not your usual sit-down, course by course meal but a night of eating, drinking and having fun with friends. We got to Tia Pol after walking around the Highline. It was about 5:30 so there were still plenty of tables available but that changed very quickly.
