Announcement: The Eighth Akita Spring Sake Tasting
This is a great event for those of us who enjoy drinking sake. If you never had sake before this is also an educational event to learn about the difference between various types of sake such as Junmai Daiginjo, Ginjo, Namazake, etc.
My wife and I have been to five of these tastings and we always enjoyed trying different sakes from various brewers all located in the Akita region of Japan. All the brewers or their representatives are eager to answer your questions and introduce you to their products. You also get to try some Japanese delicacies and experience the Japanese drums performance during the tasting event.
